Peridot

Peridot is traditionally the birthstone for the month of August. The RomansĀ named it "Evening Emerald" because it's color didn't fade in the lamplight. Peridot is believed to help dreams become a reality. Most of our Peridot comes from Australia, China, or from Arizon's San Carlos Reservation.

Peridot Care:

Peridot is rated "fair" for everyday wear. To clean, very gently scrub with a soft toothbrush in warm water and dishsoap. Avoid contact with chemicals and heat.

Dukes Jewelers offers a signature jewelery cleaning service free of charge.

The necklace in the picture to the left is an 8mm genuine peridotĀ  set in a sterling silver and 14kt gold diamond pendant.
